The Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS®
In December 2007, the Association changed its name from the Albuquerque Metropolitan Board of REALTORS® (AMBR), to the Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS® (GAAR). The new name represents Bernalillo, Valencia, Sandoval, Torrance, parts of Socorro and Santa Fe Counties, and more accurately covers the growing region of Central New Mexico.
The Association also celebrated the expansion and remodeled completion of the REALTOR® Building in 2007, almost doubling its size (three large classrooms, variety of different sizes of meeting rooms, modern computer lab, and a comprehensive REALTOR® Store).
