SWMLS Advertising Rules

Are you posting someone else’s listing on Craigslist, Facebook, or Twitter?  Are you advertising another agent’s sold listings on your neighborhood flyers?

If so, you could be found in violation of the Southwest Multiple Listing Service (SWMLS) Rules and subject to fines and/or potential MLS suspension or termination.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your advertising is communicated honestly and presents a true representation of the property.  That means following the SWMLS advertising rules and not advertising listings belonging to other brokers.  What you do today may affect your reputation and business for years to come.
