I loved the article today in the Journal - finally a realistic vision of what is happening in the market. Sales are down and prices are, too - we have to educate sellers on the realities and make sure the banks understand that there is no success in holding on to imaginary values.
The only way to get this market going is to get those prices down and get the inventory off the shelves. Get people into homes, and get the economy moving again.

I love reports!!! This specific report shows how our Metro area still continues to move even though a little slower than in the past, if you look at other parts of the US, this is not bad at all! We faced some challenges, but if we understand what is going on, and work together in growing and moving forward, we can accomplish a great start for a better future! God Bless!

This is such a great report! This gives everyone a great opportunity to see what is going on with the Albuquerque/Rio Rancho areas. As this report shows, some areas have seen a decline in the price, however, other areas have not declined as much. This is important information that buyers and sellers need to take into consideration when purchasing and selling a home.

Always appreciate the Annual Statistics - a great tool to share with my sphere. I use to compile these statistics myself every year going back to the 1980's. Wow! The time you are saving me. Thank you!

I believe Median Prices should be used instead of Average Prices for the Housing Activity Report by MLS areas. If you rerun these areas and use Medians you will see very different results for price changes.
