Area Spotlight - MLS Area 130 –Village of Corrales
Area 130, known as the Village of Corrales, is located near the Albuquerque and Rio Rancho metropolitan areas. The village is bordered on the east by the Rio Grande and, across the river, by the Sandia Indian Reservation. To the south is the City of Albuquerque while to the west and north is the City of Rio Rancho.

For schools, Area 130 has one elementary school, Corrales Elementary, and has several private schools ranging from K-12. The public middle schools and high schools in Corrales are part of the Albuquerque Public School cluster, (Taylor Middle School and Cibola High School).
A variety of community resources and business serve this area. There are 2 developed city parks. Access to Highway 528 in Rio Rancho is located north of Corrales and access to Alameda Blvd in Albuquerque is located to the south. The nearest Park and Ride location is at the Ellison & Coors Bypass bus station.
