Area 30 is located in northeast Albuquerque. The Area boundaries are defined as east of Wyoming, south of Paseo del Norte/San Antonio, west of Tramway Blvd. and north of Montgomery Blvd.

The City of Albuquerque reports that there are 18 Neighborhood Associations here. The Far Northeast Heights area is located within the Albuquerque Public Schools District, with 5 elementary schools (Dennis Chavez, Georgia O’Keeffe, Hubert Humprey, Osuna and Sy Jackson), one middle school, (Eisenhower) and one high school, (Eldorado).

A variety of community resources and business serve this area. There are 3 developed city parks and one public library. Access to Interstate 40/Interstate 25, shopping centers, a public golf course, Cibola National Forest, and Kirtland AFB are only minutes away by car or bus. The City of ABQ transit system offers one Park and Ride location in this area.
