Valencia County is located in central New Mexico, only 20 minutes south of Albuquerque, in the Rio Grande Valley. This includes the cities, towns and villages of Los Lunas, Belen, Bosque Farms and Peralta. Other communities that have been designated by the U.S. Census include Jarales, Los Chaves, Meadowlake, Rio Communities, Tome, Adelino and Valencia.

Due to changes in the Valencia County Area Maps on November 2005 we have reported the sales information for Los Lunas, Belen, Bosque Farms and Peralta using data from a city search instead of an MLS Area search. Information collected for Rio Communities and Meadowlake was done using data from an MLS Map Search. The home sales data is based on detached, single-family homes that sold in Area 690-760 from 2000-2008.
