Rio Rancho is a "City of Vision". It's pro-active attitude is shown by all the businesses that are coming to this great community. As a home owner and Realtor in this city, it gives me great pleasure to show off all it's ammenities. Cabezon area is one that will be all inclusive with local businesses, community pool, park, soccer and walking paths. Highly rated schools are walking distance and one of the many reasons this area is so popular. Call for more information or go to

This part of Rio Rancho is where people can find a great deal of new construction. The first master planned community (called Cabezon) was built in this area. Cabezon has 9 different builders and 8 different neighborhoods. This location is very close to the new Presbyterian hospital that is being developed. Clients who choose Rio Rancho South do so because it has a close to Albuquerque feeling. Also, recent developments like Cabezon give buyers more choices in Rio Rancho South. Buyers are able to choose between newer homes and the "older" ones built in the eighties during an earlier development phase of Rio Rancho. In addition, clients tell me they like what they hear about the Rio Rancho schools.

This was the area that gave Rio Rancho a big explosion in the housing growth it experienced over the last four years. Prior to subdivisions developed in this area like Cabezon, the predominant builder for Rio Rancho was AMREP. Cabezon came to set the bar high by creating a master plan like no other with parks, community pool, walking paths, and many builders to choose from. This subdivision has housing from the $140's (condos by DR Horton) to the very exclusive gated community of brick homes (by Pulte Homes), some of the other builders in the area includes Artistic, Centex, Stillbrook, Wallen, Tiffany, Charter, Agave, and many more. Ask your REALTOR about subdivisions like this in Rio Rancho which now expand from the south to the north border of this gorgeous City!!!
