Scenic Placitas offers the convenience of quick access to pleasant parks and trails, to neighboring Rio Rancho and Bernalillo, to Albuquerque, and to Santa Fe. Follow the main road for direct entry into the foothills of the Cibola National forest and a different climactic zone. In your car, hop onto I-25 for a straight shot north to Santa Fe or south to Albuquerque. With the recent addition the Railrunner Express and Park and Ride, commuters have even more options.
