This area is often over looked, but lately has been growing leaps and bounds. There is a great community center located here called Manzano Mesa. This is a Multigenerational center which welcomes all age groups and is open to the public. There are large chain stores like Home depot, walmart, and Costco. Many restaurants in the area include Chili's, Popeyes, and Golden Corral. So if you work on Kirtland AFB this would be the place to live. If it's been awhile since your last visit to area 71 it may be worth a trip, and I hope this gives a little insight as to what area 71 has to offer.
