IREM 232 Intro to Property Management (REMOTE ONLY)

This Introduction to Property Management course will give you a great overview of the discipline and what it means to effectively manage property in New Mexico and nationwide. Property management is a great way to build your real estate portfolio and increase your residual income. However, it is not for the faint of heart. To be an effective “PM” you need to have the following skills:

• Familiarity with industry standards
• Understanding of upcoming trends
• Application of fiduciary responsibilities
• Awareness of new laws and regulations
• Demonstration of leadership skills and human resource management
• Knowledge of the rights of tenants, owners and property managers
