This course is the morning session of GAAR's Speaker Series and covers the identification, assessment, and prioritization of well thought out communication and sales skills which reduces the risk for both consumers and brokers. Risk is manageable if you comprehend the what, how, when and why Buyers buy and Sellers sell.

In this course, brokers will learn how education, proper sales skills, consumer-centric sales techniques, risk anticipation, and risk control prevent or eliminate poor communication, consumer complaints, difficult misrepresentation and legal issues related to the sale of real property. We will cover the unauthorized practice of law, the realities of proper representation, listening and understanding customers to discover their needs and wants and help them close the transaction with little or no stress and legal difficulties.

Consumers (clients and customers) are better protected by the increased knowledge brokers gain as they understand their legal responsibilities and increase their professionalism.
