To create a $1 million endowment fund by the 100th Anniversary of the Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS® (GAAR).
To provide a permanently sustainable source of funds established by REALTORS® that will be available to support the ongoing and changing needs of the community served.
The REALTOR® Fund, an endowment fund established by GAAR, managed by the Albuquerque Community Foundation, and supported by GAAR REALTORS® and Affiliates, reached its original goal of raising $1 million four years early, allowing the REALTOR® Fund to give back at least $60,000 every year in grants and donations to local charities in perpetuity. Our new goal is to increase the endowment to $2 million dollars!
The REALTOR® Fund Committee reviews all grant requests to decide where the funds can be distributed for maximum impact. The Committee selects its top three requests, who are then invited to present to the GAAR Board of Directors for final determination.
