FlexMLS Updates

This page will keep a running tally of FlexMLS Updates so that members can easily refer back to changes that have happened in the past, and see what changes are coming in the future. Over the course of 2024, we will be making 60+ field changes in order to align with Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO) Standards, and this page will help you keep up with the changes.

2024 Changes

  • April 8th - Blog
    • QB Name and QB License# add to the following property types as a required field:
      • Commercial Sale
      • Commercial Lease
      • Farm & Ranch
    • Constraint added to QB Name to not allow numbers in all property types.
  • March 14th - Blog
    • Cooling Field Changes
      • 2+ Units renamed Multi Units (2+)
      • Central Air will no longer be an option
      • New fields:
        • Humidity Control
        • Centrally Ducted - Required if Refrigerated or Evaporative Cooling is checked.
      • Other minor spelling changes in the Cooling field

  • January 3rd - Blog
    • Year Built becomes a required field
    • Add Year Built Source
    • Add Year Built Details

2023 Changes

  • November 1st - Blog
    • Launch Certified Photographer Program
  • August 29th -- Blog
    • Add Road Frontage Type
    • Add Road Surface Type
    • Change HOA to Association
    • Change HOA Dues/Month to Association Dues/Month
    • Change HOA Mandatory to Association Mandatory
    • Add Association Fee
    • Add Association Fee Frequency
    • Add Association Name
    • Add Association Phone
    • Add Multiple Associations
    • In Land Only:
      • Delete Title Evidence
      • Delete Property Sub-Type
      • Delete Options
      • Add May Subdivide
      • Add Build to Suit and Build to Suit Only under Type
      • Change Packages MLS # to Packages MLS# or UPC
  • August 1st Rule Changes - Blog
    • No Offer Deadlines in Public Remarks
    • Coming Soon Status cleanup
    • Allow staff changes to listings for simple typos
    • Make it easier to transfer listings between brokerages
  • July 12th -- Blog
    • Make Green Energy Generation a required field with "None" as an option
    • Add Power Production Ownership
    • Remove Ownership options from Green Energy Electric Detail
  • April 10th -- Blog
    • Change Transaction Contact Name to Point of Contact Name
    • Change Transaction Contact License # to Point of Contact License #
    • Change Transaction Contact Number to Point of Contact Number
    • Make Owner Name a Required Field
    • Add Owner Name 2
