FlexMLS Updates

This page will keep a running tally of FlexMLS Updates so that members can easily refer back to changes that have happened in the past, and see what changes are coming in the future. Over the course of 2024, we will be making 60+ field changes in order to align with Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO) Standards, and this page will help you keep up with the changes.

2024 Changes

  • July 9th  - Blog
    • Audio/Video Surveillance in Use
      • New REQUIRED field, Yes/No choices
  • June/July - Blog
    • Laundry Features
      • Laundry Location and Laundry Power being combined into Laundry Features
      • Various options moved, renamed, and a few added. See Blog for details
  • June 20th - Blog
    • Accessory Dwelling Units
      • Guest House being renamed to Accessory Dwelling Units
      • Adding fields: ADU Bedrooms, ADU Bedrooms Included, ADU Bathrooms, ADU Bathrooms Included
  • June 20th - Blog
    • Bedrooms/Bathrooms, Miscellaneous
      • Bedrooms → Bedrooms Total
      • Baths - Full → Bathrooms Full
      • Baths - 3/4 → Bathrooms Three Quarter
      • Baths - 1/2 → Bathrooms Half
      • Listing Price → List Price
      • Service Type → Listing Service
      • Area → MLS Area Major
      • Subdivision → Subdivision Name
      • Current Taxes → Tax Annual Amount

  • May 23rd - Blog
    • Construction Materials
      • Construction renamed to Construction Materials
      • Exterior Material moved to Constructional Materials
      • Various options moved, renamed, and a few added. See Blog for details

  • April 8th - Blog
    • QB Name and QB License# add to the following property types as a required field:
      • Commercial Sale
      • Commercial Lease
      • Farm & Ranch
    • Constraint added to QB Name to not allow numbers in all property types.
  • March 14th - Blog
    • Cooling Field Changes
      • 2+ Units renamed Multi Units (2+)
      • Central Air will no longer be an option
      • New fields:
        • Humidity Control
        • Centrally Ducted - Required if Refrigerated or Evaporative Cooling is checked.
      • Other minor spelling changes in the Cooling field

  • January 3rd - Blog
    • Year Built becomes a required field
