Last month, there were changes made to the Energy fields in Flexmls. Below is a brief overview of those updates.

Green Energy Generation:

Current Fields

Effective June 15th

If Solar is selected, then the fields below are required:

Green Energy Electric:

Current Field

Effective June 15th

More options will be added to this field later  

Why the Changes?

1. A common request is whether the homeowner owns or leases the solar unit
2. Defining what the solar unit is powering - home electricity, outdoor pool heating, etc.,
3. Changes conform to RESO Standard and will allow these fields to be syndicated

Along with these changes, we are moving some data. If your listing or saved search previously had one of the options that are being removed, the SWMLS Department will update your listing for you. NO ACTION IS NECESSARY ON YOUR PART.

For example, if you had checked “Photovoltaics Seller Owned" - after June 15th, your listing will automatically reflect:

• Green Energy Generation will become Solar
• Power Production Ownership will become Seller Owned
