A Letter to all Members of the Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS®

Hello All,


We find ourselves in the middle of a serious situation which demands our careful and thoughtful response. The events of the past several weeks regarding the potential spread of COVID-19 or the Coronavirus are a sobering reminder of how small the world really is and how quickly things can change.

Our priorities are focused on two things, protecting our members and staff and finding ways to deliver services critical to the continuation of your business.

The GAAR office will remain open and our class schedule will remain in place for now. We have enacted a more aggressive cleaning regimen to mitigate any potential contamination. We are exploring ways to deploy our communication technology to make as many events as possible available via online streaming.

Out of an abundance of caution, the following events have been canceled:

  • Grande Open House Weekend on April 4th-5th 
  • Business After Business on April 14th

The GAAR Management Team is meeting daily and with the guidance of your Leadership Team, we will adjust our protocol as the situation might dictate. We will provide updates to you at least weekly but more often as needed.

We will continue to pass along information from NAR and the professional medical community as appropriate and do our best to keep you up to speed on rapidly changing best practices within the Real Estate Industry.
 
We must all do our part to make sure this situation is brought to an end as soon as possible. We appreciate your cooperation and welcome any communication you think might be helpful.
