Throughout the year, GAAR Members host several fundraisers to support the efforts of the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) which advocate at the state and federal level for home buyers, home sellers, homeowners, and the real estate industry.

Why is this Important to You?

The 2023 Legislative session began with what looked like an all-out assault on property owners with little or no regard for their value in providing housing opportunities in communities across our state. Through the efforts of industry partners including RPAC, we were able to establish a dialogue with legislators and defeat many ill-conceived bills such as rent control which would have exacerbated the current housing crisis and discouraged much-needed development.

Member Support 

In 2022, through individual donations and fundraisers - 1,359 GAAR Members contributed a total of $91,980! 

How you can be part of this effort

All proceeds from ticket sales and auction items benefit RPAC and count as a member's contribution for 2023 but we also need sponsor support to defray the cost of events. This year we have two event opportunities.
