RECPAC Endorses Jeffrey Hoehn, District #6 in City Council Runoff Election

On Tuesday, December 12th, Albuquerque voters of District #6 will be able to cast their votes in the runoff election.

Candidate Jeffrey Hoehn endorsed by the RECPAC Trustees, represents the ideals and values crucial to the REALTOR® community. His support for the rights of business owners and private property rights demonstrates his dedication to fostering a business-friendly environment—a vital cornerstone for a thriving community.

During his interview with the RECPAC Trustees, Hoehn stated that his stance against a transfer tax on real property echoes the sentiment of many taxpayers, emphasizing the need to alleviate burdens rather than add to them. His support of a multi-pronged approach to the housing crisis, advocating for public-private partnerships, underscores his commitment to finding pragmatic solutions.

Hoehn has a proven track record of fiscal responsibility essential in navigating the complexities of city governance. He highlighted critical issues affecting Albuquerque, particularly the need for a robust strategy to tackle crime. He emphasized disrupting the cycle of crime by advocating for immediate measures such as drug treatment facilities. His comprehensive approach to homelessness involves collaboration with faith-based organizations and nonprofits, advocating for diverse shelter options and a shift in funding priorities towards impactful initiatives like Housing Forward.

His vision for small business support aligns with a broader plan for the city, emphasizing neighborhood safety and cleanliness. Hoehn's commitment to inclusive governance, seeking input from all stakeholders for common-sense solutions, reflects his desire to represent the collective voice of the community.
