The seed exhibit symbolizes 11 million human beings murdered by Hitler and his Nazi followers. There is one seed for each life snuffed out: 1.5 million Jewish children; 4.5 million Jewish adults, and 5 million non-Jews including Jehovah’s witnesses, gypsies, homosexual men, Polish citizens, and the mentally ill.
