$60,000 REALTOR® Fund Grant Opens April 1st

REALTORS® Make a Difference

Big things are ahead for 2026! The GAAR REALTOR® Fund Grant is increasing to $60,000, expanding its impact and deepening support for a local charity making a difference in our community. This annual grant reflects a continued commitment to giving back and strengthening the organizations that serve the Albuquerque area.

Applications open on Wednesday, April 1st, offering eligible nonprofits the opportunity to take their mission even further.

Applicant Criteria

  1. Be in existence for a minimum of 5 years.
  2. Be exempt from U.S. federal income tax pursuant to section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and classified as a public charity under section 509(a)(1) or section 509(a)(2) of the Code; and/or an educational institution or governmental entity.
  3. Serve the four-county Greater Albuquerque Metro Area – Bernalillo, Sandoval, Valencia, Torrance.
  4. Have current filings with the New Mexico Attorney General and Secretary of State and have a positive Charity Check Report on GuideStar.

Important Dates
Application Open:  April 1 - July 1, 2026
Application Review:  July - August 2026
Top 3 Applicants Presentation to the GAAR Board:  Fall 2026
Award Notification:  November 2026
Grant Distribution:  December 2026
