As REALTORS®, we know that where you live shapes how you live.
From neighborhood investment and infrastructure to property values and housing opportunities, local decisions directly impact homeowners, renters, and future buyers. That’s why the upcoming November 4th, 2025 Regular Local Election is so important for Albuquerque’s future.
Why this election matters
Albuquerque voters will be choosing the city’s next Mayor along with City Council representatives in Districts 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9.
- The Mayor serves as Albuquerque’s chief executive, responsible for city services, public safety, and leading long-term planning.
- The City Council sets policy, approves budgets, and makes decisions that affect housing, zoning, and community development.
These offices help determine how our city grows, the resources invested in neighborhoods, and the policies that affect property ownership and housing availability.
