Shipping containers, the type seen on large cargo ships, can be used for a number of things, from storage to offices and even homes.

Its many uses is one reason Albuquerque's Maloy Mobile Storage has stayed busy for 27 years. Owners Pat and Mary Beth Maloy have modified shipping containers for a number of uses, including retail storage spaces, construction site offices and even underground bunkers.

Some of the company's more visual shipping container projects include Santa Fe's Molecule Design furniture store and the PNM Pop-Up Pavilion at Downtown Albuquerque's STEMulus Center in front of the First Plaza Galeria complex.
