2026 GAAR President earns national recognition among real estate’s top young professionals

The Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS® is proud to celebrate a standout achievement by its 2026 President, Chris Venegas, who has been named a finalist for the prestigious 2026 30 Under 30 class by the National Association of REALTORS®.

Each year, NAR’s 30 Under 30 program highlights exceptional young professionals who are making a meaningful impact in real estate and in their communities. Now in its 26th year, the program recognizes individuals who demonstrate innovation, leadership, and a deep commitment to serving clients and advancing the industry.

Venegas is among just 50 finalists selected from across the country, representing a wide range of markets, specialties, and backgrounds. What unites this group is not where they come from, but how they show up. These professionals are known for their work ethic, their ability to navigate a rapidly evolving housing landscape, and their dedication to strengthening the communities they serve.

As President of GAAR, Venegas has already demonstrated a strong focus on member value, forward-thinking leadership, and meaningful engagement within the real estate community. His recognition as a finalist reflects not only his individual success, but also his commitment to elevating the profession and supporting others in it.

The 30 Under 30 process now moves into its final phase, which includes a public voting component and review by a panel of judges. One finalist will earn the Web Choice Award through voting, while the remaining honorees will be selected based on their achievements and contributions to the industry.

Public Voting will be from Wednesday, April 8th, through Wednesday, April 15th.

The official 2026 class will be announced on Monday, April 20th.

Being named a finalist places Venegas among the top emerging leaders in real estate nationwide, an accomplishment that reflects both his professional drive and his dedication to service.
