Commercial real estate professionals, business leaders, and community stakeholders will have the opportunity to hear directly from New Mexico's gubernatorial candidates at the upcoming CREDA New Mexico Gubernatorial Candidate Luncheon on Tuesday, August 25, at the Albuquerque Convention Center.

Formerly known as NAIOP New Mexico, CREDA New Mexico (Commercial Real Estate Development Association) continues its long-standing mission of advancing commercial real estate through education, advocacy, and industry collaboration. As one of GAAR's valued industry partners, CREDA plays an important role in bringing together professionals to discuss the policies and issues that shape New Mexico's economic future.

This year's luncheon will feature gubernatorial candidates Gregg Hull (R) and Deb Haaland (D), who are expected to share their perspectives on topics impacting New Mexico's business climate, economic development, infrastructure, housing, workforce, and commercial growth.

For REALTORS®, staying informed about public policy is an important part of understanding the broader forces that influence the real estate market. Decisions made at the state level can affect housing supply, land use, transportation, economic development, permitting, and investment, all of which shape the communities REALTORS® serve.

The event is also being co-hosted by a broad coalition of industry organizations, highlighting the collaborative effort across New Mexico's business and development communities to encourage informed discussion and civic engagement.
