New Policies Adopted
To meet NAR's 2025 Core Standards, Directors approved:
GAAR Director Appointment
Immediate Past President Morgan Cannaday will remain on the board to serve the remaining 1-year term vacated by Director Amy Neal who will move up to serve as Vice President in 2026. Welcome back Morgan!
Government Affairs Committee
Formation was approved after a Task Force assessed the need to strengthen GAAR's grassroots advocacy efforts, member engagement, and policy influence. GAAR has hired a consultant to help develop the new committee' structure. The committee will be open to members in early 2026 - stay tuned!
2025 GAAR & SWMLS Annual Meeting
Will be held Wednesday, December 3rd at the Marriot Pyramid. Members are encouraged to attend!
RPAC Member Goal
GAAR is working to meet its annual participation goal of 37% of membership (both REALTOR® & Affiliates count) who contribute a voluntary $15 to RPAC. A $15 investment multiplied across our membership makes a major impact and strengthens our advocacy voice to show lawmakers that REALTORS® are engaged and paying attention. GAAR needs about 200 members who have not contributed in 2025 to make their investment of $15 by December 15th. Huge thanks to those who have contributed this year!
