With New Mexico’s strong Hispanic heritage and a population where cultural connections run deep, the launch of the NAHREP Albuquerque-Santa Fe Chapter marks an important milestone for the state’s real estate community. Hispanic homeownership continues to grow nationwide, and locally, representation matters—both in understanding the needs of buyers and sellers and in building trust across diverse communities. Having a dedicated NAHREP chapter in our region creates new opportunities for collaboration, advocacy, and professional growth.
The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals® (NAHREP) is a nonprofit trade organization committed to advancing sustainable Hispanic homeownership. With over 40,000 members nationwide, NAHREP focuses on education, networking, and policy influence to help its members better serve Hispanic consumers. Its programs promote professional development, leadership training, and cultural competency, while also advocating for equitable housing and lending practices.
For brokers and industry professionals in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, this chapter offers a unique platform to expand networks, gain market insights, and access specialized resources for serving Hispanic buyers and sellers. It also provides a stronger collective voice in policy discussions that affect homeownership in our communities. Whether through educational events, advocacy initiatives, or mentorship opportunities, the NAHREP Albuquerque-Santa Fe Chapter is poised to help local REALTORS® thrive while making a meaningful impact on the housing landscape.
Chapter President Nancy Kennedy shared, “Being the Founding President is an incredible honor and a deeply fulfilling responsibility. It represents my commitment to serving my community, fostering diversity in the real estate industry, and empowering professionals to achieve their highest potential. As a servant leader, I am proud to contribute to NAHREP’s vision and to be part of an organization that inspires positive change and helps families achieve the dream of homeownership.”
Thank you to our members who helped get this chapter up and running to serve the people of New Mexico!
