Local Real Estate Instructor Bill Hallett Retires

Bill Hallett, founder of MandatoryAndMore, has closed his school and will officially retire in 2016. 

Bill Hallett, has been licensed in New Mexico since 1978 and has held his New Mexico Real Estate Broker’s License since 1981. He formed his own brokerage company, Bill Hallett Realty, in 1981.

During the past 30 years, he has held numerous volunteer positions with the Albuquerque Board of REALTORS® and Southwest Multiple Listing Service. Bill was the 1999 recipient of the "Salesperson of the Year" award from the Albuquerque Board of REALTORS®, and was the 2007 recipient of the prestigious "REALTOR® of the Year" award.

Bill has served for several years and has chaired the New Mexico Real Estate Commission's Education Steering Committee, and also has served on and chaired the REALTORS® Association of New Mexico (RANM) Standard Forms Committee.

Most recently, Bill has been honored to have been appointed by the National Association of REALTORS® to the 2014 Risk Management Committee.

Bill has been instructing REALTORS® since 1995, and has been certified by the New Mexico Real Estate Commission as a continuing education instructor since 1999. Bill teaches for several NMREC approved sponsors in the state, and also owns his own school, MandatoryAndMore, which is approved by the NMREC as a continuing education sponsor.

Bill tought MandatoryAndMore's last class here at the REALTOR® Building on Friday – after which he was suprised with a retirement party.
