About Sherry Chris
Sherry Chris is a highly respected real estate executive with decades of leadership across brokerage operations, branding, and industry strategy. She currently serves as an Independent Consultant and Special Advisor to NAR CEO Nykia Wright, where her focus is on strengthening relationships with brokerage leaders, fostering trust, and creating greater collaboration throughout the industry. Prior to joining NAR, Sherry spent 18 years with Anywhere Real Estate Inc., serving in top roles including CEO of Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate and ERA Real Estate, as well as COO of Coldwell Banker Real Estate. Her experience in building brands, expanding broker networks, and guiding companies through times of change has earned her a reputation as a trusted strategist and mentor.
Beyond her executive leadership, Sherry has been deeply involved in advancing the profession, serving as the first female board chair of The Realty Alliance and participating in groups such as NAR’s Real Estate Services Advisory Group, the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance, and the Asian Real Estate Association of America. She has been recognized repeatedly as one of the industry’s most influential leaders, earning honors including HousingWire’s Women of Influence, RISMedia’s Newsmakers Hall of Fame, and spots on Inman’s 100 Most Influential and the Swanepoel Power 200 list.
