About Commission President Alina Catanach

Alina C. Catanach is a Santa Fe, New Mexico native with deep family roots and more than twenty-five years of experience in real estate, mortgage lending, and land development. She is widely recognized for her leadership across both the private and public sectors of the real estate industry.

Alina began her career in the real estate and mortgage industry in Southern California in 1997 and purchased her first home at the age of nineteen. After returning to New Mexico in 2001, she expanded her expertise through work in urban planning and development, building a strong foundation in land use, community planning, and residential development.

In 2012, Alina returned to Santa Fe and joined Estancia Homes, serving as Office Manager and Construction Coordinator for Rancho Viejo Properties. She later obtained her real estate license and continued to advance into executive leadership. She currently serves as President of Sales for Las Campanas Realty, one of New Mexico’s most prestigious luxury golf course gated communities, where she leads sales strategy and high-level residential transactions.

In addition to her executive role, Alina serves as President of the New Mexico Real Estate Commission, providing statewide leadership focused on ethical standards, consumer protection, and the advancement of the real estate profession. She is also a Board Director and Treasurer for Girls Inc. of Santa Fe, reflecting her strong commitment to community service and youth empowerment.
