RECPAC Supports Candidates for the 2021 Regular Local Election

The Real Estate Community PAC (RECPAC) is made up of members from GAAR and CARNM and serves as policy advisor and advocates for REALTORS® in the Greater Albuquerque area.

Early voting has begun for the 2021 Regular Local Election on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021.

In anticipation, the RECPAC Board of Trustees supports a slate of candidates deemed REALTOR® Champions.

As advocates for REALTORS® we are not concerned about party affiliation but instead focus on finding REALTOR® Champions who will make themselves available to work with us to preserve property rights, promote homeownership, and provide a business-friendly community.

Below, RECPAC supports the following candidates and the offices they seek:

Albuquerque Mayor

Manny Gonzales

Albuquerque City Council

#1 Louie Sanchez
#3 Klarissa Pena
#5 Dan Lewis
#7 Lori Robertson
#9 Renee Grout

Albuquerque Public School Board

#3 Danielle Gonzales
#5 Crystal Tapia-Romero
#6 Art Carrasco
#7 Courtney Jackson

Albuquerque Metropolitan Arroyo Flood Control Authority

#2 Orlando Martinez (write-in)

Orlando Martinez is a write-in candidate and the only candidate for this position on the ballot.  According to election rules, he must receive at least 100 write-in votes to win the seat.  Please write in his name on your ballot if you are in AMAFCA District 2.

Congratulations to these candidates who’ve earned the faith and confidence of the REALTOR® community.  We wish them good luck in the upcoming election.

Damon J. Maddox
2021 RECPAC Trustee Chair
