RPAC is clear winner at YPN Derby Event

On Saturday, May 1st, close to 80 members dressed in their Sunday best and gathered for an afternoon in the sun to watch the 147th running of the Kentucky Derby. This was the largest member event in more than a year with tickets selling out quickly.

Medina Spirit ridden by jockey John R. Velazquez took first place coming into the race with 12-1 odds. His trainer Bob Baffert has now won a record-breaking seventh Kentucky Derby. The Kentucky Derby kicks off the first leg of the Triple Crown, followed by the Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes.

Grand Winner = RPAC

All ticket proceeds benefited the REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC) who advocates at the Federal level for homeowners, private property rights, and the real estate industry.  Ticket sales raised $1,950 and in addition, four members took the YPN Pledge to invest $10,000 over the next ten years!
