Southwest MLS (SWMLS) is proud to congratulate two members of the SWMLS Board of Directors who have achieved a major professional milestone this year: Treasurer Belinda Franco and Director Joseph LaMastra have each earned their CMLXv designation from the Council of Multiple Listing Services (CMLS).
What is CMLXv?
CMLXv, short for Certified Multiple Listing Expert | Volunteer Leaders, is a prestigious program that recognizes volunteer MLS leaders for their deep understanding and contributions in the areas of:
- MLS policy and governance
- Leadership skills and best practices
- Strategic planning and industry foresight
- MLS technology and operations
The designation demonstrates that a leader not only serves their local MLS with distinction but also upholds national standards of excellence that help shape the real estate industry.
Honoring Belinda and Joseph
- Belinda Franco, SWMLS Treasurer, was recognized for her achievement during the CMLS Open House in Toronto. Her dedication to MLS governance and strategic growth continues to set a high bar for leadership within SWMLS.
- Joseph LaMastra, SWMLS Director, earned the CMLXv designation this year as well. While he was unable to attend the Toronto event, his commitment to advancing MLS policy and technology has been instrumental in strengthening SWMLS.
Why It Matters
The CMLXv designation is more than a credential. It reflects a commitment to guiding MLSs with vision and responsibility. Leaders like Belinda and Joseph ensure that SWMLS members benefit from innovative tools, transparent governance, and a forward-looking approach to the evolving real estate marketplace.
Please join us in congratulating Belinda Franco and Joseph LaMastra on this well-deserved recognition! Their leadership is a testament to the strength and expertise within SWMLS and the Albuquerque real estate community.
