SWMLS President Update - June

June SWMLS Board Update: New Tools, Better Support, and Upcoming Enhancements

The Southwest MLS Board of Directors met in June and approved several initiatives designed to strengthen the tools, support, and resources available to subscribers. Here's a look at some of the highlights.

Domus Analytics Set to Launch

After months of testing and system improvements, Domus Analytics is expected to launch by the end of July.

Before rollout, SWMLS identified data mapping issues that needed to be resolved to ensure accurate market statistics. Those updates have now been completed, allowing the new platform to move forward.

Members can expect:

  • A new statistics platform with improved data reliability
  • Preview communications before launch
  • Tutorials and training resources to help you get started

A special thank you goes to the Statistical Task Force, whose extensive testing and validation helped prepare the platform for release.

24/7 AI Customer Support Coming Soon

Improving member support is one of the priorities identified in the SWMLS Strategic Plan. To help expand access to assistance, the Board approved a new AI-powered customer support solution from Voiceflip.

This new resource is designed to:

  • Provide answers to common SWMLS questions any time of day
  • Offer support through both phone and website chat
  • Allow staff to focus on more complex member issues that require personalized assistance

More information, including the name of the AI assistant and launch details, will be announced soon.

CubiCasa Approved as a New Member Benefit

The Board also approved CubiCasa as a new subscriber benefit.

Floor plans have become an increasingly valuable marketing tool, with last year's subscriber survey showing that more than 70% of brokers already include them in their listings.

The new benefit will include:

  • Access to CubiCasa floor plan technology
  • Discounted pricing for upgraded floor plans
  • Another marketing resource to help showcase listings

SWMLS appreciates the Appraisal Committee and participating appraisers for evaluating the product and providing valuable feedback during the review process.

Coming Soon Rule Clarification

The Board approved a housekeeping update to the SWMLS Rules and Regulations regarding Coming Soon listings.

The revision aligns the written rules with the listing options introduced last fall, clarifying that Coming Soon listings may be syndicated when authorized by the seller.

This update does not change the purpose or use of Coming Soon listings. It simply ensures the rules accurately reflect the options currently available.

Thank You for Your Involvement

The SWMLS Board continues to rely on feedback from committees, task forces, and subscribers when evaluating new products and services. Your input helps shape decisions that improve the MLS experience and support brokers throughout New Mexico.

Watch for additional announcements in the coming weeks as these new tools and enhancements begin rolling out.
