The 5 things you need to know this week.

Here are the 5 most important things every GAAR REALTOR® should know this week:

1. The Supra 2.0 Implementation Event at the Albuquerque Marriott Pyramid is going on right now! If you have the old Supra lockboxes, make sure that you mak your appointment tomorrow and Thursday. If you don't have lockboxes, you don't need to attend this event. Click here to get all the details about the Supra 2.0 Implementation Event.

2. The GAAR Awards Gala ticket sales are now open!  Join us for this popular event on evening of March 4th at the Albuquerque Museum. Honor your peers as you kick up your heals at our formal Gala event. Click here to secure your ticket now before they sell out.

3. Sponsor the GAAR Awards Gala. This is your time shine before your fellow REALTORS® while fundraising for the REALTOR® Fund – GAAR's sustainable trust that gives back to the community we serve. Show your team spirit with a Bronze, Copper or Support sponsorship. Sponsorship closes soon, so click here for details.

4. Call For Action supporting the Home Owners' Association Bill Amendment. To advocate for home owners, both GAAR and RANM are asking for support of HB129 which caps fees HOAs can charge homeowners when they request disclosure documents required for the sale of their home. While many HOAs are charge reasonable fees, some are taking advantage of homeowners during the closing process. Since the homeowner cannot shop for a better rate, like they can in every other aspect of the transaction, we support a cap of $150. Click here to learn more about the HOA amendment and how you can help support it.

5. Mark your Calendar for our first "Meet Your ABQ City Councilor" Forum on Thursday,  February 18th at 8:30 am. To connect REALTORS® to their local representives, the Real Estate Community Political Action Committee (RECPAC) is hosting three forums where you can learn your ABQ City Councilor's priorities, their position on real estate-related topics and have a chance to ask them questions. Then join them for a quick meet and greet after the Q&A. Click here to learn when YOUR councilor will be here.
