Committees — Be Part of the Action

By joining an NMAR Committee, you’ll help guide policies, programs, and member services. Some examples of committees you could serve on:

• Bylaws Committee
• Conference & Events
• Finance
• Forms
• Growth & Involvement
• Legislative
• Professional Standards
• Membership & Technology
• RPAC Board of Trustees
• Strategic Planning

Serving on a committee is a great way to network, gain committee-level governance experience, and influence areas you care about.

The committee application is due on Sunday, October 5th.

NMAR Board of Directors — Two Open GAAR Director Seats

GAAR is also looking to fill two Director positions on the NMAR Board of Directors for the 2026–2027 term. Directors may serve two consecutive terms.

Key expectations:

• Attend two NMAR Board meetings per year
• Legislative Meeting in Santa Fe (January)
• Annual Meeting & Conference in August (location TBD)
• Represent your region, bring insight from your experience, and help make strategic decisions for NMAR.

Deadline for NMAR BOD Application is Monday, October 6th.
