Clear Cooperation Fines Increasing September 1st

Beginning September 1st, the fine structure for Clear Cooperation violations is changing. Under the new structure, the first violation will be $500, second violation is $1,000, and the third violation is $5,000 and loss of MLS privileges for 30 days. This is a rolling count per member and does not reset.

In recent months, SWMLS has put together multiple resources to help members understand Clear Cooperation, listing entry under Section 1.0, and how the different rules coincide with each other. We encourage brokerages to utilize these resources, and others listed below, to make sure brokers understand the importance of Clear Cooperation, how it fits in our industry, and how they can work within it.
