No member wants to receive a fine, but one of the top reasons SWMLS REALTORS® receive a compliance fine, is because they didn't see the warning email (it was in their spam folder).

The SWMLS Compliance office currently issues violation notices to the listing agent and their Qualifying Broker via email. The Listing broker has 2 full business days to correct a listing issue. SWMLS no longer makes courtesy phone calls to listing agents regarding compliance warnings and so recommend taking the following steps to ensure a warning is not overlooked.

Tips to make sure you don't miss any Compliance Alerts for your Listings

• Add your office admin to receive these emails by sending a request to compliance@gaar.com.
• Sign-up to receive a text-alert for listing warnings by sending a request to compliance@gaar.com.
• To ensure a compliance warning does not go to your spam/junk mail, add the following emails to your safe contact list; compliance@gaar.com and EmailNotification@interealty.net. Here is an explanation of how to add (or whitelist) the emails to Gmail, Outlook.com or Yahoo! Mail.
