Fall Back November 1: Check Your Supra Lockbox Access Hours

Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 2:00 am, when clocks move back one hour. While most devices will automatically adjust, REALTORS® using Supra iBox BT LE lockboxes should review their access hours to ensure they align with Standard Time.

Supra iBox BT LE lockboxes operate on Standard Time year-round. This means that access hours adjusted during Daylight Saving Time may no longer match the intended local access window once the clocks change.

For example, a lockbox programmed to allow access beginning at 8:00 am Standard Time would have allowed access beginning at 9:00 am during Daylight Saving Time. When clocks fall back on November 1, that same lockbox will allow access beginning at 8:00 am local time.

REALTORS® who previously adjusted their lockbox settings to accommodate Daylight Saving Time should review those settings and make any necessary changes.

How to Change Lockbox Access Hours

If you need to manually update the access windows on your lockboxes, follow these steps using the Supra eKEY app:

  1. Open the Supra eKEY app and tap My Lockboxes.
  2. Select the specific lockbox you want to update.
  3. Tap Program Lockbox, then scroll to Access Hours.
  4. Adjust the start and end times for each section as needed.
  5. Tap the light blue Program button.
  6. Enter the shackle code when prompted.
  7. Press up on the bottom of the lockbox key container to activate Bluetooth, allowing the eKEY app to transmit the new settings.
A Quick Check Before November 1

Not every lockbox will require an adjustment. However, reviewing access hours ahead of the time change can help prevent unexpected access restrictions or access outside the intended showing window.

REALTORS® are encouraged to verify their lockbox settings, particularly on properties with restricted showing hours, to ensure access remains consistent with seller instructions.
