During all Legislative Sessions, including Special Sessions, no legislator or candidate for the legislature (or their “agents”) are allowed to “knowingly solicit a contribution for a political purpose,” meaning they cannot accept any political contributions.  In a Special Session it is from the time that the proclamation has been issued to the time the Legislature has adjourned. So hold your donations to your favorite NM State Senators and Representatives until the Special Session is over.
