Every week, the Roadrunner Food Bank feeds over 70,000 hungry people throughout New Mexico. 

For the annual "Make a Difference Day" this past Saturday, 111 GAAR REALTORS®, affiliates, staff and family helped package several thousand pounds of food. Team Affiliate once again took the top spot with 65 volunteers, while Team REALTOR® made major improvements with 46.

Now that "Make a Difference Day" is over, it is important to keep in mind that Roadrunner Food Bank needs donations and volunteers year round to:

• Feed 70,000 New Mexicans weekly
• Help feed the 44% of New Mexican households with children that can't afford enough food 
• Provide emergency food assistance and disaster relief
• Run the mobile food pantry program
• "Rescue" food from restaurants and other food related businesses
• Help feed low-income senior citizens
