GAAR has streamlined its email communications
Starting in May, members experienced a more condensed email schedule:
- Weekly Passport - Every Wednesday
- Education - Twice a month, 2nd & 4th Monday
- Special Announcements - Occasionally, as needed
These emails are sent from announce@gaar.com and the most recent change is reducing the education email from weekly to bi-monthly.
The GAAR member newsletter, the Weekly Passport, is centered on events and news, such as First Wednesdays, special events, MLS updates, benefits, RECPAC/RPAC activities, and volunteer opportunities. Designed to be short and sweet, to give you a gist of the news, where you can click to learn more. There is also a link to the full GAAR/SWMLS Event Calendar with events and trainings.
The Education email features Core Courses, Core Electives, Electives, QB Refresher, Ethics, Fair Housing, No-Cost CE, and so much more. It provides a list of available courses, indicating whether each class is in-person or via Zoom. Special announcements are sent less frequently and focus on specific news or events that require timely attention.
These streamlined emails aim to efficiently inform members about various association and MLS news, with links for further details and registration.
