GAAR is proud to offer The Seller Respresentative Specialist® (SRS®) Designation Course on the below dates for those interested in earning this designation.

Day One meets April 29th, 2021 from 8:30am-5:00 pm.

Day Two meets April 30th, 2021 from 8:30am-5:00 pm. 

About Your Instructor:

Rick Harris (ABR®, CRS, GRI, SRS, e-PRO®, SFR®) is the Owner/Principal Broker of Coldwell Banker Pro West Ashland, with over 30 years of hands-on, in-the-trenches experience in residential, multi-family and commercial brokerage.Throughout his career, Rick has volunteered in REALTOR® and MLS leadership at the local, state and national level, including: State President, long-time National Director, NAR Regional Vice President, Federal Political Coordinator, and Chair of NAR’s MLS Issues and Policy Committee and MLS Technology & Emerging Issues Advisory Board.

Who is it for?

The Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) designation is the premier credential in seller representation.  It is designed to elevate professional standards and enhance personal performance.  The designation is awarded to real estate practitioners by the Real Estate Business Institute (REBI) who meet specific educational and practical experience criteria.

What You Gain:

The SRS Course will redefine your "normal" and reinvent the way you represent sellers.  It provides a comprehensive foundation of skill development, training and resources to help real estate professionals represent the interests of sellers in today’s marketplace.

Students learn to:

  • Increase listings and grow their business
  • Demonstrate and communicate their value package to seller clients
  • Understand and apply the Code of Ethics & Standards of Practice
  • Understand and comply with state license laws when representing sellers
  • Understand and apply methods, tools, and techniques to provide support and services that sellers want and need

How to Earn It:

Education:

  • Complete the SRS course, either online or in a classroom setting.
  • Complete one of the SRS elective courses:

Exam:

There is no exam requirement for the SRS Course.

Professional Affiliation:

  • Member in good standing with the National Association of REALTORS®
  • Exception: International members of SRS do not have to be members of NAR.
  • Member in good standing with SRS

Work Experience:

Documentation of three completed transactions in which you acted solely as a seller representative.

Application:

Submit the designation application along with documentation of three completed transactions.

  • $99 each subsequent year
