Ida Kelly of Ida Kelly Realtors is more than a trusted real estate professional — she’s a driving force for good in our community. As a 2024 GAAR Good Neighbor Award recipient, Ida is recognized for her deep commitment to serving local families and creating lasting change.

Understanding the challenges some students face beyond the classroom, Ida founded the Eisenhower Middle School Community Service Club — a student-led group focused on addressing food insecurity. Thanks to her leadership, the club provides essential food support to classmates and their families, ensuring no student goes without after school.

But Ida’s efforts go far beyond logistics — she’s become a mentor and role model for the students she serves. Through her leadership, Ida is teaching young people the value of empathy, responsibility, and service. She empowers them to see themselves as changemakers, whether they’re preparing meals for families staying at Albuquerque’s Ronald McDonald House or finding new ways to give back to those in need.

By fostering a culture of compassion and action, Ida is shaping the next generation of community-minded citizens — one service project at a time.
