The update expanding property remarks in Flexmls to up to 4,000 characters officially went live today.

This enhancement gives members more space to provide detailed and informative descriptions for their listings.

As the update was finalized, a few technical issues were identified. The issues affecting reports have been escalated with Flexmls and are expected to be remedied soon.

We are also currently seeing an issue with property remarks not syndicating to some third-party real estate portals. This is due to the IDX vendor’s feed not yet being updated to accommodate the expanded remarks field, which disrupted the syndication of that information.

The vendor is aware of the issue and is actively working on a resolution. We expect remarks to begin syndicating normally once the necessary feed updates are completed.

We will continue monitoring both issues and will share an update as soon as additional information becomes available.
