GAAR Board Meeting
Advocacy: As the real estate landscape continues to change, one key focus is to ensure our Association stays engaged in local policy. To guide our efforts, we're launching a Government Affairs Task Force to assess potential improvements and define the future of our program.
Emergency Relief Fund: This subset of the REALTOR® Fund supports local disaster relief and was approved to donate $3,000 to support flood recovery efforts in Ruidoso and $2,000 for fire relief in Valencia County.
Strategic Planning 2026-2028: The Board has selected T360 to facilitate our future planning to ensure clear goals are set that align with the Association's Mission and Vision. View the 2023 - 2024 Strategic Plan.
Future Board of Directors: Consider submitting your interest for open GAAR or SWMLS Director or Officer positions next year. Deadline to apply is Monday, August 11th. Review details and qualifications.
Committee Recruitment for 2026: Keep an eye out for upcoming notices. View the list of committees.
SWMLS Board Meeting
Remine: The Board has decided not to renew the contract and will replace it with CRS and RealReports. CRS will serve as our primary tax data solution and Flexmls is working to integrate. We will announce when subscribers can access and refunds will be issued to those who have already paid for it this year. Our new contract with RealReports provides a Snapshot Report for every new listing.
Real Property Resource RPR: This member benefit provided by NAR can help you navigate property data, create impressive reports, and use shortcuts to streamline your workflow.
Multiple Listing Options for Sellers: This new NAR policy mandate will be implemented by September 30th. Stay tuned for the rollout.
Thanks for staying connected!
