NMREC’s new CE requirements now in effect

This year, the New Mexico Real Estate Commission has changed your CE requirements from 30 credits per 3-year cycle to 36.

The 8-hour Mandatory Course has been replaced with the 4-hour NMREC Core Course which now must be taken every year to maintain your license.

Here’s what you will learn through this new course:

  •  A review of E&O Claims and how our industry can reduce them
  •  Score brokers on the broker duties in an interactive case study where we watch a deal unravel, unfold and play out
  • The latest legal updates on a federal, state, local level
  •  Rule changes from NMREC
  •  How to improve the QB/QB relationship via the independent contract agreement
  •  Latest changes to Broker duties

In addition to the annual NMREC Core Course, you will also need to take:

  • 4 hour ethics elective
  • 4 hour “core elective” [not to be confused with the NMREC Core Course].

These are courses in NMREC's catalogue of approved courses which have received a “core elective” designation by the NMREC.
