Today is Election Day!

Today, November 3, is Election Day in New Mexico! Polls are open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm as voters cast their ballots in the 2026 General Election.

From federal and statewide races to county offices and local ballot measures, this election will help determine who represents New Mexicans and makes decisions affecting housing, infrastructure, economic development, and our communities.

Whether you are already registered or need to take advantage of Same-Day Voter Registration, there is still time to participate. Find your voting location, review your sample ballot, and get the information you need at NMVote.org.

Election Information

The easiest way to find voting locations specific to you is through NMVote.org, the New Mexico Secretary of State's voter information portal.

Find Your Voting Location through NMVote.org.

After entering your voter information, you can also check your registration, view your sample ballot, track an absentee ballot, and find contact information for your County Clerk.

GAAR members throughout the greater Albuquerque area can also find county-specific election and early voting information here:

Missed the Registration Deadline?

New Mexico offers Same-Day Voter Registration, which allows eligible voters to register or update their registration and cast a ballot during the early voting period. Same-Day Registration is available at County Clerk offices and participating early voting locations. It is also available at polling locations on Election Day.

Requirements and availability can vary by location, so voters planning to use Same-Day Registration should check with their County Clerk before voting.

Make Your Voting Plan

Early voting provides more flexibility to participate in the election without having to fit voting into a single day. With locations and hours varying throughout the early voting period, a little planning can make the process easier.

Before you go, check your registration, review your sample ballot, and confirm your voting location and hours through NMVote.org.
