SWMLS President Update - July

Building Momentum and Looking Ahead

In her latest update, Teri Hatcher, 2026 Southwest MLS President, shares how SWMLS is turning its strategic priorities into action while continuing to expand the tools and support available to members.

Over the past six months, SWMLS has built momentum with the launch of Domus Analytics, approval of CubiCasa and SourceRE, and continued improvements to member products and services.

Teri also recaps the G.R.E.A.T. Event, where members had the opportunity to explore SWMLS products and receive hands-on assistance. Thank you to the GAP Committee for organizing the event and to everyone who participated. Members looking for additional help can attend SWMLS Tech Tune-Ups on the first and third Thursday of each month for one-on-one assistance with new and existing products.

An Update on Open MLS

SWMLS continues to explore Open MLS, an initiative that could allow all New Mexico real estate licensees to participate in SWMLS while preserving the value of the MLS.

Legal counsel is currently developing a formal proposal. Once complete, it will first be considered by the SWMLS Board of Directors. If approved by the Board, it will then be presented to SWMLS Participants for a vote at an Annual Meeting. The timeline will depend on when the proposal is received from legal counsel.

Meet Dash

Integration is also underway for Dash, the new GAAR and SWMLS AI assistant expected to launch later this year.

Customized specifically for GAAR and SWMLS, Dash features our very own roadrunner and will provide members with 24/7 access to support and information. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to launch.
